How much does Gentle Ben charge?
Depending on the amount of work your electrical problems require and the materials needed to complete the job, Gentle Ben Electric determines a fair and reasonable price for the repairs and services provided. We will review everything with you before work even begins and you will receive a full quote to determine if Gentle Ben meets your electrical repair needs.

Does Gentle Ben charge for providing an estimate?
Due to the fact that Gentle Ben's team consists of highly-skilled electricians with multitudes of experience and tools, we do charge an evaluation fee of $69.00, which comes into play for all electrical repairs and services under $1,000. For electrical repairs and services $1,000 to $2,000, the evaluation fee will be waived if you approve the estimate. For electrical repairs and/or services over $2,000, there is no evaluation fee.

How long is Gentle Ben's work guaranteed?
Gentle Ben warrants its electrical work as long as you own your home. Unless we otherwise inform you, our labor warranties match the manufacturer's warranties for parts and materials. We are not called the huggable electrician for nothing! Homes in Greenville, Smyrna, New Castle and throughout New Castle county have relied on our immediate and long term service.

Why join the Bear Hug Club?
The Bear Hug Club at Gentle Ben is an organization consisting of our very best customers. All members receive a 15% discount on electrical services and repairs, up to $150 per job. Members also receive same day service with no overtime charges for electrical services, as well as a free annual inspection of their house's electrical system. Owner supplied light bulbs and batteries will also be replaced.

Can we buy our own light fixtures or materials?
Though Gentle Ben does allow its customers to buy their own materials for electrical services or repairs, we are unable to offer free warranty on products we, ourselves, do not procure. We use top quality elecrical products that we know we can stand behind.
